The vintage 42yo expression began life in 1965 when it was filled into American oak barrels before resting for 42 years at the lowland distillery warehouse near Glasgow. It really has a wonderful golden hue to it that looks very tempting and each one of these bottles could be yours for $3,300 and it will be available in stores at London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Stansted, Edinburgh and Glasgow airports from 29 October. That pretty much puts this out of reach for the American drinker unless you might want to tour Europe especially for this!
