All those who love to watch movies, television and play their play-stations on high-definition LCD screens have always dreamed of acquiring one and have it set up in their living rooms or bed rooms and have a great time with it. But, one mother, who wanted to give her son a surprise gift, went a step further and came up with a bizarre idea of installing a 100 inch LCD screen on the ceiling of her son’s room.

The project was undertaken by Stereo Advantage, a Williamsville, New York based electronics company, that has stated that this particular project was the first of its kind that it had ever completed. Stereo Advantage, selected a 98-inch StarGlas60 wide-screen television, along with a NEC projector and Draper projection mirrors as the products to be installed in the ceiling.

According to Kevin Bohner (Systems Designer),

“It was definitely a first for us. Because it’s so big and has such a wide viewing angle, Patty’s son wouldn’t have to lay flat on his back necessary to see the screen. He and his friends can prop themselves just about anywhere and get a good view.”

One of the biggest hurdles that Stereo Advantage faced while doing this project was that, the ceiling was too weak to accommodate all these components, that amounted to a total of 300 pounds. In order to over come this problem, the ceiling of the room had to reframed and reinforced.

Yeah,I’m liking that shit.Hell it’s only money. That’s why I work,so I can get what ever the hell I want. He who dies with the coolest (and most ) toys wins.I know, somebody’s going to say.You don’t win, you’re already dead. But look at how fun my life was, compared to a lot of others working their asses off. For Nothing.I’m getting mines. And I’m definitely enjoying the fruits of my labors. Peace.
