Toshiba Corporation has just announced a new series of 5,400 RPM 2.5 inch HDDs offering up to 640 GB capacities. This is an unbelievable capacity. It’s a universal truth that everybody wants to increase the storage capacity in his/her computer but Toshiba has not made a high storage disk drive hitherto. With this, you can save a lot of data. This new series includes 640GB, 500GB, 320GB, 250GB and 160GB models.

It comes with a special feature that offers a free fall sensor option to help protect the drive. It contains Halogen Free Product, making it environmentally free conscious product. Just in case you are planning to buy this hard disk drive, you might have to hold and wait for a while as the release date and its price tag are still not known.

I am assuming that it will not be very expensive considering the umpteen features. However, shipping for sample drives will soon reach to OEMs and distributors by this month. Indeed, I cannot wait for this Hard Drive to be released soon so that I can buy it and upgrade my system.
