`A’ Furniture Spells Simplicity, Utility and Sense

What exactly could A mean in a design? A furniture design at that? If one uses brain cells for common sense based thinking, A could mean quite a bit. Designer H C Wang has come up with A furniture, which is simplistic, minimalist, and yet has multi-functional quality.

Consisting of two wooden bars, if seen in an angle, even resemble gymnasium bars, or two differently sized swing poles, the A furniture bars can be used – one as a table, another as a seater. In reality, they are A Table and A bench. The smaller height A piece can be placed perpendicularly under the higher one, to create convenience for a chat session among buddies.

The objective of the A series according to the designer, is to apply utility and simplify user experience by refining that very ordinary user experience. The A table is a narrow height bar table that can be engaged in either direction. A bench is a bar stool height bench that is meant for seating, and keeps the eye level of those seating at par with those standing at the A table. Despite the narrowness in their structure, the two pieces are sturdy, and can be used effectively in public spaces. They are a good bet for space saving cafeteria in offices, or at educational institutions.
