I wonder what the world has come to! Just a couple of days ago Google was apparently hacked and on the very same day, another high profile Twitter account got hacked. The tragedy is it’s always easier said than done to nab those notorious hackers. This is not the first time that has happened to Twitter.
Many of New York Times’ Twitter accounts were hacked too. Nobody knows the real culprit behind this dirty hacking scene, although the issue was resolved before any big damaged happened. However, the NYTimes has already admitted that they were hacked and they also apologized to the public.
Nevertheless, this sends a clear warning bell to the Twitter users to be more careful about their passwords. It’s about time that all the Twitter users stayed alert while using the site. However, there is no guarantee that your account will not be hacked no matter how much carefully you protect your password. The hackers seem to be way too ahead of many of us. It’s best to not store any important personal information in our accounts.
