When it comes to gadgets and electronics, Japan surely does not feel the pinch of the deterioration in the global economy. This is justified by the newly launched opulent cell phones by ‘Japan’s Softbank Mobile.’
The cell phones are lavishly decorated with 537 diamonds from Tiffany and Co. and weigh 18.34 carats. These luxurious cell phones are sure to let a few eyebrows raise with envy. The “Softbank 823SH Tiffany” will sell for a whopping sum of about 13 million yen which is approximately 130,265 dollars. Japan attracts fashion companies into their markets as it’s the commercial capital for the world in terms of luxury goods. Gucci being one of them to name prominently has apparently launched a website for Gucci goods which can be accessed solely on the Japanese cell phones.
Perhaps the Japanese are years ahead of us not only in terms of technology but also in luxury. So, go the Japanese way when it comes to cell phones but if your eyes fall on the “Softbank 823SH Tiffany” then think twice about the price before you splurge.
