Here is good news for all those Sony PlayStation Gamers. We have just discovered Sony PlayStation Eye Camera, which will come with four microphones, two zoom levels, and capture as high as 120fps. Apparently, Sony also has an amazing plan to add new facial recognition capabilities to this Eye Webcam.

Besides, the webcam will also have the ability to detect gender and even tell the age of the face of the gamer. It will also be able to differentiate special features like the nose, eyes and ears. Interestingly, it can also know whether you are smiling or not. How cool it is! However, it sounds like a spy camera to me though.

Apart from these wonderful features, the PS Eye webcam will also work with the Sony Motion Controller with the Eye camera tracking the X, Y and Z motion by using the glowing sphere. This wonderful PS Eye webcam will be available in stores from October 23, 2009 onwards at a price of $69.99 only. It’s worth spending on such a cool Eye camera. In fact, I am very excited about it.
