A Robotic Cat that Responds to Human Emotions

Sega has launched a robotic cat which responds to affection and emotions. Lonely people usually find even a robotic toy pretty cling-worthy and Cat Dream Venus is one such toy that may make you cling to it.

Of course, it cannot replace a live cat nor can it replace the pain and joy of losing a naughty ca only to find it stuck up a tree in the neighbourhood. The Cat Dream Venus runs on dry cell battery and even comes with a comb with which you can groom the robotic cat. The toy is designed for cat lovers who may not be able to have cats at home.

If you say in an apartment where accommodating a cat is very difficult, you should try this robotic cat as a substitute. Of course, we don’t mean to say that a ro0botic cat can replace the joy of a live fur ball but it can at least fill the void to a certain extent. The cat responds to words such as “good” and “Cute”. At about 10,500 Yen, it is a pretty good deal, if you ask me.
