The threat of swine flu hasn’t stopped the fashion world from creating some of the most creative designs. The same can be said be about Marjan Kooroshnia at the Textile & Fashion school of Borås, Sweden who has designed creative and life saving swine flu masks, that not only boast of the latest fashion but is also been designed to save lives.
These all new surgical swine flu masks are made of thermochromic ink that makes the flu mask change its color according to the breathing pattern of the user. The surge in the swine flu pandemic compelled Marjan to design the surgical preventive masks and scarfs also serve as an early warning service for the swine flu.
The color changing swine flu surgical masks measure the difference in the temperature around the forehead and the mouth of the wearer. Along with these masks, Marjan Kooroshnia has also designed and created flower pattern masks that depict the different allergies the wearer might have. These maks and scarfs can truly prove to be a boon especially at a time when the threat of swine flu becoming an epidemic is very real.
According to Marjan Kooroshnia,
“Using different patterns for masks might be suitable for different people, from the aspect of beauty and color.”
