So a little sunshine might really keep us all healthy, and specially men. Researchers in Australia have discovered a positive correlation between the amounts of sunshine one is exposed to and the fertility levels of that person. Most of the men who visited the infertility clinic lack Vitamin D and that which is abundantly available in natural sunshine.
In fact they were surprised to find out that about 10-15 minutes of sunshine could do wonders for sperm production and its quality. An exposure for a duration of 10-15 minutes seemed to decrease sperm fragmentation by 75%.
A country that encourages cover from sunshine and whose motto is ’slip, slap, slop’ may find it amusing that sunshine improves male fertility. Meanwhile men can go ahead and get the sun that is so important, all of a sudden.
