If you are the kind of person who downloads unwanted apps to your iPhone, you would most probably know about the iSteam iPhone Steam Simulation App. The app, when installed creates steam when you touch the screen and when you try to deactivate it, it makes screechy sounds. It also makes you see water condensing on your phone, however, all in an illusory realm.

The app does not boil your iPhone or steam it but only make you have a nice time without worrying about anything. This app has no use except for the fact that it might allow you to spend your time in a less meaningful way than well, sleeping during the day or watching Desperate Housewives.

The app was apparently free till now but is being reported to cost $0.99. However the app designer Kostas Eleftheriou says it would be free till the weekend and there seems to be a technical problem at the App Store back office. You may just as well try getting the app and if it’s free, well and good. If it is not, it is still a very small price to pay for something as frivolous as this.
