It has launched Augmented Reality Pack line of sneakers, which are not just any ordinary sneakers. These are the keys to the virtual world.

To enter your fancy 3D world all you have to do is pull the tongue of the sneaker, it has a code on it. On showing this code to the webcam a virtual world will appear in the computer screen. With the help of the shoe you can zoom in and out, navigate and control the depth of view of the virtual world, which gives it a 3D view. As your shoes’ movements will be decoded into the virtual world so it can very well be used as a controller for playing games.

Adidas is also planning to launch a skateboard game, a star-war like game and a music based game over the next few months to go with it. These shoes come in different hues ranging from red (priced at $94.99) to yellow (priced at $64.99) and will hit the stores by February 10.So this summer, be prepared for a whole new gaming experience.
