As bizzare as it may sound but now you can actually adopt an olive tree. To be honest, we all have sometimes wished to own a Tuscan olive grove. Well, Nudo is offering us the next best thing.
The green organisation helps you take charge of one of its olive trees for a year. Not only will you get the satisfaction of contributing to the green world but also enjoy the produce of the tree. The joy of using you ‘own’ olive oil will be a happy feeling indeed.
You just have to pay around 85 dollars for the arboreal adoption certificate. It will also carry details that the new foster parents would want to know about their little one to be. In the course of a year, two more care packages shall follow, one in the spring and one in the autumn. And they will not be alone. Accompanying them will be the oil produced by your tree.

It’s a great idea, and have seen this idea elsewhere, and a lot cheaper too.
There is a small family run orchard doing the same thing in the US. The Texas Hill Country Olive Oil Company. The offer organic olive oil and you can get personalized labels on the bottles of oil. I added a picture to mine, great conversation piece at dinner.
