aerosmith Aerosmiths Future Uncertain As Steven Tyler Quits

One of the most famous and entertaining rock n roll bands of all time, Aerosmith is reportedly heading for a break up since the band’s lead vocalist, Steven Tyler quit the band. The lead guitarist for Aerosmith, Joe Perry announced the Tyler’s decision to quit and has stated that, as of now he is not [privy to any further details. As per the details given by Perry, Steven Tyler has been out of contact from the band, since their performance in Abu Dhabi.

According to Joe Perry,

“Steven quit as far as I can tell. I don’t know anymore than you do about it. I got off the plane two nights ago. I saw online that Steven said that he was going to leave the band. He has had no contact with me or the other band members. He’s notorious for that, that’s one thing I’ve learned to live with. I try to overlook it.”

Aerosmith is well known for some of their biggest hits, such as “Dude Looks Like A Lady”. “Sweet Emotions”, “Amazing” etc. and has sold more than 150 million albums in last forty years of creating some of the most renowned music compositions.

The performance at the Abi Dhabi Grand Prix was part of their tour schedule that was previously interrupted due to the injuries suffered by Steven Tyler, when he fell off the stage during a performance at a concert in South Dakota. During an interview Joe Perry further stated,

“Obviously he hasn’t been giving 100 per cent to this thing for a long time. He’s obviously had this planned for a long time. To disregard his brothers to the point where we have to find out about it on the Internet. I still care for him as a person, or at least the person I used to know. But things change. Right now I’m adjusting to how we’re going to go on, Aerosmith is such a powerful band, I mean it’s like a steam locomotive. You just can’t disregard 40 years of four guys who play together as well as they do. I am trying to figure out what direction the band should take. As far as replacing Steve… We’ll probably find somebody else that will sing in those spots where we need a singer and then we’ll be able to move the Aerosmith up a notch, move the vibe up a notch.”
