While Bangalore for long has been known as the Air Conditioned city, there is certainly something wrong with the technical part of the air conditioners that make the city called so. The city has gradually begun to sear under extreme heat and the lack of any pro active measures to help reverse the climate change is appalling. Local authorities in Bangalore do not seem to know words like climate change, pollution, traffic rules enforcement all of which adds up to the greenhouse effect.
It is also evident that rules exist but they are broken almost arrogantly. In brazen defiance of ecological rules, Bangaloreans continue to use heavily polluting two wheelers which are an integral part of this city’s “culture”. Apart from the two wheelers, locomotive vultures called autos spew poisonous gases into the atmosphere and the drivers almost always use adulterated crude oil instead of CNG.
They also use kerosene which produces a lot of smoke. Two wheelers, Auto Rickshaws and Government Buses add to the misery of people who stay in Bangalore temporarily. Those who continue to stay here permanently have adapted to the heat, pollution and noxious fumes. The air conditioned city, is certainly a laughable myth spread by people who have not visited cooler climes elsewhere.

Absolutely agree.
It is air conditioned , conditioned with pollutants, heat, CNG fumes, kerosene residues. When rules are broken, money is made. This is called as exploitation by the government officials, in your face exploitation.
