Air Hogs Vectron Wave UFO Works on Gesture Technology

Gesture control gadgets have been around for a while but they have been limited to futuristic gadgets which are relentlessly expensive. Nevertheless, Spin Master ahs unveiled a toy that incorporates gesture recognition technology, and it could very well be the first remote controlled toy that does not come with a remote control.

Air Hogs Vectron Wave UFO can be controlled directly through the use of gestures and all you would need to do is hold it by its top spindle and begin the motor. You would need to hold your hand underneath it as it hovers above your hand. When you move your hand, the UFO moves along with your hand as well, and when you make the gesture of a toss, the UFO goes up.

If you make violent motions, the helicopter makes violent motions too. You could play it with a friend who could catch it when you make a throwing gesture. It costs $25 and can be a great gift for kids who love toys that are different. It was first demonstrated at the New York Toy Fair, and is a great way to make your child happy, if you have one.
