According to the co-founder of the company, Nixon Wu, the final prototypes of the Alpha 680 is currently in its final stage and will be available in the market by June at just $250.

The Alpha 680 is easy to carry and you can perhaps fit it inside your purse or a shoulder bag. It has a 7-in. LCD screen at 800 by 480 pixels, 128MB of DDR2 RAM, which is expandable to 256 MB. There is also a 1GB solid-state disk (SSD) drive (expandable to 4 GB, though users can also add storage through the SD card or two USB ports).

The Alpha 680 is using an ARM11 CPU running at 533 MHz. It also has a built-in Wi-Fi, keyboard and touch pad. Besides, you can also play YouTube Icl’s Flash encoded videos with good clarity. The features definitely look very bright and promising. Come June and I shall buy one for myself.
