There has much hype created around the Kindle 2, e-book reader by Amazon. However, the hype seems to be finally coming to an end (at least to a halt as of now). Amazon has released its newest photos of Kindle 2 and also revealed a handful of information regarding the price and the release date.

Apparently, the product will hit the market on Friday, the 24th of February, 2009. The device seems to be a lot thinner than those previously leaked shots, which were revealed in last October. Going by the limited information gathered on this device, apparently, its back is made of metal. There are also stereo speakers at the bottom.

All in all, the device looks pretty snazzy and special on its own way. The only disappointing factor could be its heavy price tag. It is going to be sold at a whopping 359 USD. Now, this gives me all the reasons as to why I should not be very eagerly waiting for this device. It for sure is not worth the wait! I would rather concentrate my focus and excitement on something else.
