If you thought most fashion designers when they became successful were old, and roamed around with models half their age, think again. Cecelia Cassini is America’s youngest fashion designer, and you would be surprised to know that she is just 10 years old.

The little girl is even represented by a former manager of Kim Kadarshian, and the rest of her success is all because of herself. Cecelia assures she would never use real fur, and that she is against it. The Today Show will air a package on Cecilia and that might help her grab admission in one of the top fashion schools in Italy or France. In spite of being so young, the girl stands firmly on her ground, and seems to know how the industry works.

This must come as a slap in the face to all those people who accuse fashion to be a superficial industry for her childish innocence is far from being superficial. Cecilia is not related to Oleg Cassini, and the girl designs for children these days. We should not be surprised if her collection would soon develop into a men’s and women’s collection.
