There were some rumors going on about Sirius XM (SIRI) debuting the first ever radio dock for iPhone and iPod touch, and it’s true. This Skydock is so sophisticaed that you can charge your iPhone while you are listening to it. You can use this in concert with the Sirius XM iPhone app, besides using it to download songs from iTunes. You can also access to all XM and “The Best of Sirius” channels.

You can use your iPod or iPhone to listen to all your favorite sports, talk, news, entertainment and commercial free music programming. Besides, Skydock will allow millions of users to add live SIRIUS XM Radio capability to iPod or iPhone while still in the vehicle. XM SkyDock is compatible with iPod touch first and second generations, iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPhones3Gs.

All the models require iPhone OS 3.0 or later. However, there is no information available at this point regarding the release date of this device. Nevertheless, it has been granted preliminary approval by the FCC, which is still evaluating it. It will cost $119.99 though.
