The Guinness’ Book of World Records is full of all sorts of whacky world records. We hear of almost everything imaginable and unimaginable like the longest fingernails to the fastest text message. And now famous mobilephone brand Samsung has sought to get itself entered in the prestigious book by setting a world text message record using one of its handsets.
If you are wondering where the bizarre element here. Look no more. Samsung took a team of ten professional skydivers into the skies, each equipped with a specialized messaging handset. That was not all, the skydivers were tossed out of the plane at 12,000 feet.
Now, the skydivers had been pre-assigned a task that required them to complete a pre-defined text message accurately before they touched ground. That they did, as was seen and recorded by a cameraman in the air and by Guinness’ officials on the ground. Do you want to know, what the text message was? Here it is:
