Apple company has been flying on success after success. Their recently launched OS X version Snow Leopard has been getting rave reviews and confirms to being another absolute success for the company. However, there still remains some debate on whether the version is a complete operating system or merely a service pack.
The Snow Leopard for Apple Mac includes anti-virus and can detect OSX.RSPlug and OSX.IServices. Apparently, these definitions can be upgraded using the Software Update process if you aren’t satisfied with it. This may even become a necessity since the anti-virus cannot detect certain common threats like EICAR. Something that would appeal to those who are dissatisfied with this little setback is the news that the upgrades do not cost much.
The Snow Leopard is the least expensive Mac OS in almost a decade and would be available at under $30. The version would also increase speed (and some people swear by this) and is intended to increase disc space as well. Even with the positive reviews that Apple is already receiving, some people claim that this is only because Apple had made an early shipment to certain parties hoping for better reviews!
