The new product line for the holiday season include iMacs, a MacBook that costs just $999. However, the one product that has taken away the spotlight from all others, is Apple’s new ‘Magic Mouse’.

The Magic Mouse is designed keeping the growing demand and popularity of touch controls and has been developed on the same touch platform as iPhone, iPod Touch, and MacBook Pro. This nifty new mouse sports a magnificent contrast between the conventional desktop mouse and the touch sensitive attributes such as swiping and swirling gestures.

There is an absolute absence of buttons or scroll wheel and the surface of the device is a smooth plain that, works as a touch control mechanism. This new mouse is primarily available with the all new iMacs and can also be bought as a stand alone product for $69.

In case of page scrolling, all the user needs to so is, scroll his fingers up and down, which will make the page go vertical and downwards. In the same manner, in case of left and right scrolling, all the user has to do is, scroll his fingers in a left to right motion, causing the page content to move left to right and vice versa.
