Apple Inc. Postpones Apple iPad International Launch To Maintain U.S Supply Chains

The launch of the Apple iPad on April 3rd 2010, marked the beginning of an era that, many believe would lead to a revolution in mobile computing and has in fact begun a race where major hardware and software companies are now running against the clock to bring out their own iPad rivals. However, the popularity of Apple’s tablet device is far under rated. As per a recent announcement made by Apple Inc., the company has already sold over half a million iPad units and is expecting more orders in the coming days.

To ensure that, it is capable enough to meet with the rising demands of the U.S consumer base, Apple has now decided to postpone the international launch of the iPad, till the end of the month of May. Apple has already taken a huge amount of pre-orders for the upcoming iPad 3G and is confident that, it would be able to deliver the devices by the end of this month. As far as the international markets are concerned, Apple will be begin taking pre-orders for the iPad from May 10th, 2010.

The postponement of the international launch of the iPad isn’t really shocking as the company has already witnessed the immense success that the iPad has achieved in the U.S in less than a month. Almost every tech savvy individual is vying to get his hands on the iPad and start exploring the web in a more stylish manner, all the while ready to shell out more money so as to access the numerous applications that have flooded the Apple App Store for the iPad.
