Apple iPad Apps Store Now Available For Users To Download Applications

Well, with the highly anticipated tablet device from Apple Inc, the Apple iPad juts days away from being shipped to the anxious users who had given in pre-orders for the device, Apple has now officially opened the iPad applications store, that includes apps specifically designed and developed for the iPad. Some of the most noticeable of these apps are the Pages word processor and the official Netflix App.

Even though the iPad is still about 48 hours from its launch and only a handful of testers have access to the device, yet the company has spared no expense in promoting the applications in Apple Apps Store, by prioritizing the iPad apps and showing them on top all other applications, including those for the Apple iPhone and the iPod Touch. Some of these applications are just upgrades to the previous ones that were released for the iPhone such as, Flight Control, the air-traffic control simulator, and Brushes, a finger painting application. However, the new iPad applications that have been added to the collection are also pretty noteworthy, as they have been designed to integrate themselves in business, media and entertainment.

Even in the gaming arena, the iPad isn’t far behind with some of the most popular gaming titles hitting the Apple Apps Store. One of the biggest game creators, Electronic Arts (EA) has released a couple of its big hitters such as Need For Speed ($14.99), Mirror’s Edge ($12.99) and Command & Conquer ($12.99), along with other gaming titles such as Tetris for $7.99 and Scrabble for $9.99.

Although, no one as of now can use these applications as such, yet as per Apple, the user who wish to get their hands on these nifty applications can easily purchase them and the purchased applications will be stores in iTunes, until they are downloaded to an iPad.
