Ever since the launch of one of the most after gadget, Apple iPhone 3G and 3GS, there has been a long list of users who just love their iPhones and conduct just about every bit of their communicating activities via their mobile devices. But then again, there are other users who “really love” their Apple iPhones and so much so that, they would do just about anything to ensure the supremacy of the best mobile handset is maintained by the iPhone.
In true fashion of a user’s undying loyalty to iPhone 3GS, an Engadget reader, Martin Schrotz, has uploaded some very unique images of his self modified Apple iPhone 3GS, where in the users has stated that, he has actually changed the original cover to the iPhone and has replaced with a custom designed and developed case, made entirely from Titanium. Furthermore, the most interesting feature of the titanium casing is that, the user has supposedly used a new kind of titanium alloy, that enables the transition of radio frequency waves, which normally would be very hard to achieve while working with titanium.
Although the new modified iPhone 3GS looks stunning and extremely elegant, yet some skeptics have expressed their doubts over the feasibility of a titanium iPhone case and the price tag that would go along with such an accessory. Titanium as we all know, is very expensive metal and there are other more technical hurdles involved in such an endeavor, that has made the skeptics, term the new back case a ‘fake’.
