
In front of the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue in New York, there seemed to be an endless flotilla of customers, just waiting to get their hand on the all new Apple iPhone 4G, one of the coolest and smartest mobile phones for 2010, that hit the markets today. The lines in the front of the Apple Store stretched for several blocks and the entire mood was that of a fiesta, with users extremely excited about the prospects on an entirely overhauled iPhone OS 4.0, the phone design and other features that come with iPhone 4G.
However, the fiestas and the parties are just one face of the iPhone 4G launch coin. For those consumers who received their iPhone 4G due to their pre-orders have been complaining about a slight yellowish discoloration of the device’s retina display. Furthermore, as more and more users logged on to the FedEx website to check the status of their iPhone 4G packages, the entire tacking system collapsed and even with the company’s assurances of smooth delivery, it had to temporarily disable the FedEx tracking system. Furthermore, there even have been complaints from numerous users in the regards to the state of the art four antennas, that are embedded into the iPhone 4G. as per various users, when the device is held by its steel band, the network signals start to deteriorate and in many instances, it has even led to dropped calls.
The Apple iPhone 4G has been launched in the U.S with a two year AT&T contract, where in the iPhone 4G 16GB model is priced at $199 and $299 for the iPhone 4G 32GB models.
