Benoit Deseille and Benedetto Bufalino have created an art of sorts and are the centre of attraction in the Lyon Light Festival, France. They have converted an old phone booth into something exotic and now it is a full-fledged aquarium. The Aquarium is lighted from within and the plants grow as well.

However, there is no information about how often the aquarium would be cleaned or if there are any fish inside the aquarium. I guess this shall also be one of the most expensive aquariums ever to be built. Next time you go to Lyon, don’t visit the government aquarium, but do visit this interesting Phone Booth Aquarium which comes with all the quirks you would expect of a design like that.

I am sure a Car Aquarium would be more interesting and you could even set the fish to move around inside as they please. However, retaining water and making sure it does not leak could be a problem when it comes to other spaces like cars. However, the Phone Booth Aquarium is an interesting piece of art that definitely wins lots of attention and positive criticism.
