Just like that first step that man took on moon many decades ago, the Armstrong Bin tries to take the first small step towards saving the planet which will add up and culminate into one giant green wave for entire mankind. This space-age styled dustbin designed by Sukwon Park and Sungwoo Park allows you to compress trash to an extent where the volume of the garbage is drastically cut down thanks to the strength of your feet. Just fill in this rippled container with all that you can fit into it and then step on it to ensure that space is saved when this goes in the landfill.

While one would feel that this is a great way to start off with saving the planet and that might be true to a small extent, the fact that Armstrong Bin does not encourage recycling and reusing of materials is a bit of a downer. Considering that most dumps already do the compressing job, it seems that this small step into the world of eco-consciousness is actually very, very tiny!
