The advertising war between two of America’s biggest wireless service providers, AT&T and Verizon might have moved out of court, but has in noways subsided. In a recent attempt to trash its rival, AT&T ha come out with an all new advertisement, that depicts the power of ATA&T’s 3G network as against that of Verizon.
The advertisement, shows Luke Wilson talking about the 3G services offered by AT&T and their reliability and trashes Verizon’s network services. The advertisement contains the comaprison between AT&T and Verizon where, AT&T is shown to be the faster one, as Luke Wilson is downloaded out of a mirror in no time, whereas Verizon services take longer to download the same image and even then does an incomplete work at that, Mr. Wilson comes out headless and bangs his torso in a wall while attempting to fix his location.
The whole dispute began with an advertisement carried out by Verizon Wireless stating that, AT&T offered really poor 3G services and many parts of the United States were still not covered by AT&T. On the other hand, Verizon had comprehensive 3G services in the country and the entire United States was covered by Verizon. This ad campaign led to a prolonged lawsuit triggered by AT&T that ended with out any conclusion, as the the case was withdrawn by AT&T.
