
Gregory McCalium, a 23 years old British was sentenced to four and a half years this week for having invaded the home of an elderly couple near Oxford, in Britain in August last year. Although armed with a knife, he was dominated by the owner of the house, a former fighter of 71 years.
Frank Corti is a military reserve and served with the Royal Engineers in North Africa between 1956 and 1958.
He hit twice the invasor direct in the face of the neighbor Gregory McCalium, left him with a black eye and with a swollen lower lip.
When the police reached the house, the bar attendant McCalium had been dominated by the reservist.
The judge who chaired the Royal Court in the case of Oxford said that McCalium “got what he deserved.”
According to Justice, McCalium was drunk after returning from a party and entered the house of the neighbor, who was having disagreements for awhile.
Corti said already that had discussions with McCalium because of noise and that he has called the police arrived about an hour and a half before the invasion because of the young man because he had knocked on the door of the house of the reservist.
McCalium will remain arrested at least half the sentence before being entitled to parole.
