Water is the most essential source of living. Millions of life has been affected in the past and it still continues to do so in many parts of the world due to scarcity of water. Nevertheless, we do at times become careless and waste a large amount of water in our everyday use. Sometimes, a large quantity of water goes to waste due to leakage problem in the bathroom or the kitchen tap. In order to control this problem, an electronic device called “H2Orb” has been designed.

It functions pretty simple. The device is attached to the water valve behind the toilet. A single float sensor hangs inside the toilet tank. Whenever there is a leak, the device automatically shuts off the water and alerts the user about the leak by sending an immediate alarm via the LCD screen attached on the device.

The H2Orb is operated on a single 3V lithium coin battery. It’s a good idea to own this device and save this precious resource from being scarce in the future. This is a very minimal contribution towards the environment that one can easily do from their home itself.

Ross McBride, a Tokyo designer has come up with the most eccentric and yet the most creative porcelain cruet set for Danish brand Normann Copenhagen called “Dolly”. The design of the product is simply unique.

It is in the form of a one rounded U-shaped, which is divided into two portions internally; one for salt and the other for pepper. The product looks very cute in its own way. There is something about “Dolly” that draws your attention immediately. It has a class and elegance of its own, which is designed in a simple way by the designer.

There is something very feminine about this porcelain cruet set. Maybe it starts with the name “Dolly” itself, and the U-shape as well. Besides, the object is also very handy as it comes in a small size. You surely cannot miss the sight of “Dolly” while you enjoy your meal on your dining table. The Bugatti Galibier 16C Concept has finally reached the US soil. This greatest sedan ever made will make its public debut in Los Angeles. The long hood of the Bugatti Galibier truly reminds of the incredibly luxurious cars of the 20s, 30s, and 40s. In the past, long hoods made room for big engines but in today’s time it is considered luxurious.

The body of the car is ultra polished that you can see your reflection very conspicuously. The car is even better inside. The wood, leather and metals are precisely chosen and they perfectly complement the outside body of the car. The vents, long slices accented with aluminum are brilliantly designed. It has an iPod-like menu in the dash. Its center console flows through the centered gauges.

Nothing comes cheap these days and when it comes to luxury, the price naturally ought to be sky high, especially if you are talking about luxurious cars. However, I so love this Bugatti Galibier.

The next Olympic Games, which will be held in the year 2012 at the Olympic Park in the city of London, will definitely leave its crowd spellbound with some of its jaw dropping structures built at the Olympic arena. “The Cloud” is one of the structures that will mesmerize the tourists. It is a 400 feet tall mesh tower, which has already been shortlisted as one of the entries for a competition to attract the tourists.

The Cloud is special in its own ways and has some of the most amazing designs that one could have never imagined. For instance, the beautiful tower is covered with solar powered plastic bubbles. These bubbles have a major role to function as they are responsible for showing images and data. They will forecast weather information, the Olympic race results, and also read the number of spectators present.

The Cloud can also be converted into an observation deck and a park. Indeed, it is very interesting that The Cloud has ramps, stairs, and lifts that will carry the tourists to the top of the tower where they can have a scenic view of the beautiful city below. The Cloud can generate its own energy with the use of the solar cells on the ground and in the plastic spheres. I will definitely not miss The Cloud even if I miss the London Olympics.

The “Deep Forest Chair” created by Kibardin Design is something that you wouldn’t want to miss out. The chair has been created with the most unique designs ever. It is made from 374 dowels and each of them has been placed so precisely in order to produce a comfortable seat. The chair may look a tad odd when you look at it for the first time but surely does catch your eyes’ attention.

Apparently, the chair has been designed in this fashion in order to give an example of a complicated 3D surface out of simple geometrical shapes. Whatever the rationale behind this design is, one thing is for sure that the designers took a lot of time and efforts to design this chair.

More than the design, I quite like the name better. It is quite apt for a chair such as this. There is no further information available regarding its release date or its price tag. I am assuming that the price tag to be a little higher than the ordinary chairs considering the designs. I definitely would like to have at least a pair of them in my drawing room.
