‘I am a Barbie Girl…life in plastic is fanatastic…”. Honestly, we couldn’t have agreed more with this peppy and controversial number of yore because Barbie does get the all the good stuff. So be it Ken, the Barbie Dreamhouse, any career of choice or fashionable clothes, she can have them all!!! In fact, now she can also have a pair of pumps created just for her by designer Christian Louboutin.

As you Barbie die-hards would already know, the doll is turning 50 next year. So to mark the special occasion, Loubotin has decided to design a special pair of shoes for Barbie in her signature color, Barbie Pantone 219 Pink.

Buzz is that Mattel Inc. (Barbie’s mother co company) is intending to have a special runway fashion show coming February that shall have some 50 models parading around in Barbie’s clothes and definitely the Barbie Louboutin pumps.

Can’t wait to get a pair of my own. Will they be available for us big girls too?
