Barnes and Noble have launched their Kindle killer called Nook which is based on Android. It features dual screens which include a touch screen in colour and an e-Ink. The Nook comes with 3G wireless networking and can store up to 1,500 books.
It certainly looks better than the Kindle which has been promoted vociferously by Amazon. There are several thousand books available for free and it certainly is an advantage for Nook. Nook is a little expensive at $260 but it certainly is a cool gadget to be bought.
Since it is so sleek and chic, you would not be ashamed to carry it to an elegant evening party and when you get bored, you could take out your Nook and start reading an interesting novella. I would so love to have one for myself! It is not clear what the hard disk space of the gadget is but it would certainly be an amazing thing to be carried in the bag. It can also connect to Internet!
