Beauty Salvaged From Waste At Milan Design Week

Milan Design week witnessed the beauty which was salvaged from PET bottles. Shocked? You should be!! South African designer Heath Nash revealed a mesmerizing, bright, vibrant electric chandelier which was made completely from recycled PET bottles with a unique funny name, ‘Bottleformball’.

Misael went all the way to South Africa to tie up with Nash. South Africa has a tradition that there would be someone at every street who would be working with the recycled materials. From last 15 years Nash also worked with recycled materials. Bottleformball was the splendid creation which was forged from multicolored pieces of extracted bottles attached to a handmade wire structure.

It was showcased at the Miseal Gallery, where bunch of artists and designers are working with all kind of recycling material to create modern ecological designs. Their aim is to recreate natural and organic objects. This gallery is also setting up in Milan and Cape Town and soon will be also in Vincenza, Italy.

Everyone out there was amazed to see the artfully arranged bottle pieces. After illumination, it was giving the illumination of colored ceramics. It was a lovely scenario to find out that such a beautiful chandelier could be salvaged from junk PET bottles.
