We have just discovered a cool telephone called “BeoCom 2″ by Bang & Olufsen. This unusual telephone is unique and interesting in its own ways. For instance, it is crafted from a single piece of aluminum. The curve shape of the telephone looks like a human face. This telephone will revive the cordless phones, which have been virtually obliterated by the proliferation of mobiles phones across the globe.
The phone comes with umpteen features. It has a Caller ID, redial option that can access the latest 24 incoming and outgoing calls. Besides, it also comes with a phonebook, which is shared among the connected handsets. The phonebook can has the capacity of holding up to 200 number entries and names. It is automatically created when calls are made and received. BeoCom 2 offers eight handsets from a single base station, which combines with Beocom 6000.
The speakers of the phone produce a good quality sound. In case you are disturbed by the background noise, you can control the sound volume by adjusting the sound button. While there is no doubt that the features look great, however, it is uncertain whether or not the phone will make a hit in the market. I would rather stick to my mobile phone.
