Here is a nice and innovative ‘Natural Colours’ campaign of Berger Paints. How does one advertise natural colours that too in an outdoor billboard campaign?
The ad agency JWT Mumbai has designed a hoarding where a painter seems to be actually extending the blue colour of the sky on to his canvas. There can be no better way to depict how natural the Berger paints are. They managed to cut out the hoarding in the shape of roller strokes. So it is indeed sky which is part of the canvas. The illusion appears real.
Billboard/Hoardings advertisements have to be catchy enough to attract attention of forever distracted crowd. The picture must truly say it all. Intelligent, witty messages do work but pictures like this one doesn’t need catchy slogans. The product message goes across instantly. This is indeed an intelligent campaign.
Most paints ads show walls, interiors, exteriors of home. This one depicts the sky. This is perfect for people who would want to paint their house with natural colours. It is indeed difficult to get the right shade though.
Via Coloribus
