MiWi2 is one of those fake gadgets that have been doing rounds in many shops in the West. The MiWi2 looks almost like the Wii and if a person who does not know much about consoles goes ahead to buy one for his kid or a friend that loves gaming, the gift could be a disastrous disappointment. Many such devices have entered the market and buyers need to be wary.

Most of these consoles do not play the games as required and the quality would be as good or bad as a rip off could be. This makes me wonder the kind of money these fake companies could be making. Firstly, the recession almost spelled doom for the gaming industry and now with counterfeit products like these, the gaming industry will certainly take a beating.

In my opinion, advertisements in order to increase awareness about counterfeit products must be encouraged so that misinformed people do not go and encourage such unscrupulous companies that mislead and cheat. For now, the MiWi2 looks like the personification of counterfeit products available in the gaming market.
