Bill Gates Tops the List of Billionaires, Again

bill gates Bill Gates Tops the List of Billionaires, Again

We have heard news about how Google is consistently taking over Microsoft’s monopoly in the Internet and Computer business. With such news coming in, we must expect Bill Gates to be not the riches man in the world anymore. However, Forbes’ 2009 list of the World’s Billionaires lists Bill Gates as the World’s Richest Man with a net total of $40 Billion.

However many previous billionaires have fallen of the list and one such guy is Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook. Also, the money has come down with the average billionaire’s worth being just $3 billion, a drop from a higher $3.9 billion.

Unfortunately for Russia, it no longer dominates the billionaires list and the arch rivals in U.S. top the list. It is rather ironic that the recession began in the U.S. due to failed mortgages and the rest of the world has to suffer. Russians have suffered a lot in these times of recession and economic calamity. Russia lost two-thirds of its billionaires which is more than the GPD of either Israel or Ireland. Looks like things will only take a downturn with such sad effects of recession showing their ugly faces.

How much is too much. They broke up Bell System. They were to big. Is it time for miricle men like Gates and Job to lower their prices. Or break up the monopoly. After a certain amount of time the patents need to be pulled. Not seven years or more.
