Black Friday Takes Off In Australia & Ne Zealand with Apple Products

Apple Black Friday

The shopping extravaganza for the holiday season has begun in Australia and New Zealand with the onset of Black Friday, the traditional holiday beginning on Friday after Thanksgiving. The Black Friday this year seems to be dotted with technological wizardry as more and more gadgets and gizmos have witnesses a sharp fall in prices for the holiday season.

Apple Inc. has also taken steps to ensure that, it also reaps the benefits of the holiday season by reducing the prices of some its most sought after and best selling computing products. However, the discounts offered by Apple Inc. aren’t exactly Black Friday like, as other companies have greatly reduced the prices of their products.

The discounts on Apple Mac Books wont prove to be of much significance to the consumers, as the price differences aren’t significant, then again, its holiday season so the consumers will be quite active. There is an 8% price reduction in the low end models of the the iMac and iMacBook Pros and upto 4 to 5% discount on the high end models. Apple’s popular iPod Touch and iPod Nano devices have seen quite an impressive discount rate for the Black Friday, with iPod Touch offering 10% discount and the iPod Nano offering upto 6% discount on the 8GB model and 4.5% on 16 GB models.
