Offices spaces aren’t the spacious places that every worker wishes for it to be. Instead, you find yourself sharing working space with a bunch of others making it difficult for the space to hold the required amount of furniture as well.

Designer Thomas Mascall addresses this problem of a cramped working space and came up with a multifunctional chair which can be used as practically any piece of furniture usually found in an office. The Blockseat has stationary folded legs in the midst of which sit a piece of foldable material. It is this piece that folds in or out to take the different shapes. Completely folded in, the Blockseat takes the shape of a stool, unfolding this makes it into a chair and spreading the centre piece out completely turns this into an instant worktable.

The Blockseat can also be used to stored files and other office material. The different shapes that the Blockseat can take makes it the best piece of furniture to have around in a cramped space, so that it can be stored or folded away when not in use.
