We have all used Bluetooth 2.0 and 2.1 for quite sometime and have been waiting for Bluetooth 3.0 for a very long time. In fact, we have waited for so long that we had almost forgotten that it is due. However, now the technology will be out in a matter of two weeks and would present some of the fastest transfers ever.

You could transfer an entire music library, a complete DVD or even a whole load of pictures in a few seconds thanks to the groundbreaking technology that Bluetooth 3.0 is equipped with. It also comes with a feature called the Enhanced Power Control which allows you to avoid interruptions if you place your cell phone within your pockets.

It will make use of 802.11 speeds and I must it is a completely great technology. There is no word on the price and we shall have to wait till April 21 to know more about it.
