The Soundlink wireless music system comes with a USB adapter, that enables system to be plugged into a computer and delivers the output from any music player or internet radio stations. The wireless range of the system is unparalleled to any other wireless music system currently in the market. The wireless connectivity isn’t obstructed by walls and doors and keeps streaming at long distances as well.

According to John Roselli (Business Manager, Bose Corp.),

“Many people use a computer as their primary source for music. But that convenience and experience is diminished by having to be at the computer to hear it. The Bose SoundLink system unlocks that music, streaming it almost anywhere in the home – even outside – quickly and easily.”

The Soundlink wireless music system is powered by a lithium-ion battery that charges itself while being plugged into the computer. The speaker system delivers a decent battery back-up that gives it a running time of 3 hours at full volume and continuous playback. If played at moderate levels, the running time extends considerably.

The entire package is priced at $549.95 and will be available commercially from August 27, 2009.
