Companies manufacturing soft drinks make a lot of money at the expense of the environment. These bottle are not often reused and consumers do not bother with taking the bottles to a recycling centre. In the end, the bottle become mixed with garbage and add to the accumulation non-biodegradable junk of the world.

Artist Aaron Scales has designed a sustainable bus shelter with used soft drink bottles. apart from the use of the soft drink bottles, the lighting used at the bus stop is solar powered making this artistic bus stop probably the most eco-friendly bus stop of the world. The use of only green bottles from Kentucky’s Ale-8-One gives the bus stop an especially warm green feel. The effect created as sunlight falls on the bottles is quite endearing and pleasant as well.

The eco-friendly bus stop, named Bottlestop, lights up with LED lighting at night and is powered by solar energy. Seating at the bus stop has also been designed to look different and the bus stop also includes a garbage receptacle that would surely encourage all visitors to keep the area clean and stay mindful of the environment.
