British actress Natasha Richardson, a member of the Redgrave film and stage dynasty and wife to Liam Neeson, died shorty before midnight on Wednesday at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, as confirmed by a spokesman for the family. Richardson, who sustained internal head injuries resulting from a skiing accident, was disconnected from the machines that kept her alive as she was brain dead for several hours.
The actress suffered a serious accident Monday in Mont Tremblant, near Montreal, Canada. She appeared well after the fall and seemingly emerged unhurt. She got up and even joked with her skiing instructor about the accident. Returning to her hotel room an hour later, she started complaining of headaches.
At the time of her accident, husband Liam Neeson was shooting a film in Toronto with actress Julianne Moore.
Richardson has been internationally recognized for her long and fruitful career, owing a huge part of her talent to her award-winning parents, actress Vanessa Redgrave and director Tony Richardson.
Natasha Richardson won a Tony Award in 1998 for her performance in the Boradway musical ‘Cabaret.’

So sad, she is still young and she can still share a lot in the industry. Natasha Richardson is one of the good actress.

the loss of Natasha Richardson makes me re-think my resistance to wearing a helmet while skiing

Please wear your helmet when you ski. That’s an SOP.
