British Airports Launch Free Wi-Fi Service For Airport Transportation

British airports are in the process of launching Wi-Fi service and GPS tracking for their buses and coaches. The service will be provided by Icomera AB’s Moovbox M200 Mobile Broadband Gateway for the Excel Passanger Logistics coaches that provide transportation service at Stansted, Liverpool and Manchester airports.

These transportation services operating between airports provide customers with cost effective and easy transportation. Apparently, Icomera was the preferred choice during research conducted by Excel Passenger Logistics with the aim of ameliorating the service provided for clients, especially international passengers. The free Wi-Fi service would indeed be a plus for passengers travelling in these locations and the GPS tracking has been added as a measure of safety so that Excel would be able to keep a track on their buses and coaches.

Moovbox M200 Mobile Broadband Gateway connects to high-speed cellular data networks which include 3G/HSPA, EV-DO and WiiMAX to provide Wi-Fi access as well as Ethernet based LAN connection which would make it easier for passengers to acquire passenger information systems and more. This service would definitely increase customer satisfaction as the airports authorities hoped.
