Here is something that might interest you especially if you love cars. A hydrogen-powered car called “Riversimple Urban Car” has just been unveiled at Somerset House in London. The car was assembled in the workshop of Alan Docking Racing at Silverstone. The car comes with amazing features. It can speed up to 50mph. The best thing is you can travel up to 240 miles without refueling in between. This will save so much of your time that you would spend on visiting the local petrol bunks.

The care weighs just 772lb.Besides, it has four electric motors, which are attached to each wheel and they double as brakes and generate electricity that is stored in a bank of ultra capacitors. As of now the car is only a ‘technology demonstrator vehicle’ especially designed to check the possibilities of today’s scientific know-how. The project leaders plan to put it into production only by 2013.
Apparently, the car will have a life span of 20 years, which is very impressive. Another unique thing about this car is that it will not be sold (at least not as of now) but will be leased to users. The owners will then get a maintenance, support and fuel package. The only drawback about the car is that it is a two-seater and hence, it cannot accommodate more number of people.
