Reporters go through so much, facing flack from celebrities, being pushed around by security guards. And being shot at? If they are trying to get something juicy on Mel Gibson, they just might.
You may say it serves them well, but hey, if it isn’t for the hard work of these annoying, long-nosed busybodies then we would have nothing juicy to read about in the paper. They deserve our admiration and a Bulletproof Press Vest. These ‘bullet, fragmentation and stab resistant’ vests come with handy pockets for notebooks and mobile phone. The material is also supposed to remain unaffected by moisture, which is a really good thing because celebrities often tend to throw their milkshakes at you when they lose their temper.
On a serious note though, this is something that every reporter should be provided with when entering a high-risk area.
