Prostheses have always faced the problem of not finding the right material to be manufactured. The issue of the right material to manufacture prosthesis has bogged researchers for a very long time. Now, scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have come up with a new method which allows them to use carbon nanotubes to stitch materials. These carbon nanotubes would be used to join composites which are very important while manufacturing.
Nanotubes could create the str9ongest materials known to man and that could lead to the development of very strong prostheses which could in turn help handicapped and the disabled. Nano technology and nano particles have a lot in future to contribute towards medicine and treating people.
Perhaps nanotechnology would soon become part of a medical study as that would help researchers to use nano technology in medicine. Maybe this holds a great promise of treatment for all those people who have suffered due to accidents and slips and lost an arm or two. I am glad this technology could be used in a better way now.
