Well, the world’s most favorite gadget has finally done the incomprehensible by bring God closer to the world, via the magic of digital technology. The all new application for the iPhone is a Digital Rosary that has been designed for the devout Catholics across the globe and to make the application more interesting, it has been given a voice over by a revered Archbishop from the Vatican.

A Rosary is a string of beads that is used millions of Catholics to keep in sync with the sacred recitations and hymns that are a part of the Rosary prayer and are performed by counting pre determined sets of consecrated beads on the Rosary. The all new Digital Rosary application will now enable the users to continue their prayers on their Apple iPhone as the app recites the words that can be repeated by the users and also give prompts for the users that enable them to carry out the Rosary ritual on via the touch screen of the iPhone.

The Apple iPhone application will be available for a price of $5.76 and as per the creators of the application, it will prove essentially useful to the users who are in places, where churches are quite out of reach.
